Yoga Mind, Week 13: Enough is Enough
But what is “enough”? These three questions can help us find out.
Yesterday, I sent out a live session recap of all the information you need to make kindness happen (in a literal, tangible, craft-y sense). Now, on to this week’s Yoga Mind tool, which helps us answer the question “What is enough?” by asking three more questions. (It’s not as annoying as it sounds, I promise!)
The idea of having enough—or, rather, the question of what “enough” means—is something that baffles us to the point that Marie Kondo became a cultural phenomenon for helping us get rid of what had gone from “enough” to “too much.” This isn’t unique to America, though having a lot of everything, from food-eating contests to storage space for our stuff, seems to be part of our culture.
Another thing that’s not unique to the United States is how much time spent on social media is “enough.” There’s also the idea of not doing enough, that we have to fill every spare moment, and not just with work.
How do we find “enough,” that magical place that feels satisfying, and yet seems so elusive? There are three questions I use to help me get there.
