I love Libby! I need to read again. I find it hard to concentrate nowadays with all the bad news

Yes, there’s just too much bad news, and too much bombardment. I do like to be informed, but that takes a very short amount of time—the length of one PBS News Hour. I’ve programmed my Instagram to give me nothing but nice things, like people’s art and knitting, but I don’t need to be there too long, either. So YES to reading! Find yourself some uplifting books on Libby, and you’ll feel that wonderful concentration returning!

I love the Libby app, here in the UK, and use it mostly for audio books that I listen to while I walk. Recently finished Buckeye by Patrick Ryan ... 'americana' at its best. So engaging and empathetic. Loved it.

Wonderful recommendation, thank you! And yes to audiobooks!

Yay for books and for the library! I usually have a physical book, an ebook, and an audiobook going at any given time. I love historical fiction (just finished The Resistance Knitting Club on audiobook). My current physical book is Project Hail Mary (I've seen the movie 6 times so decided to see how the book is), my ebook is The Way of Integrity, and my audiobook is Three Bags Full. Happy reading 📚 😊

I love that you’re also not a monogamous reader 😹 I have a few books going at once as well, usually a hardcover book at home, which isn’t quite as portable as the e-book I can have on my phone’s library app for when I’m traveling. Thanks for the recommendations, and let us know how the book version of Project Hail Mary goes!
