Yoga Mind, Week 24: Learn from the Burn
With these two spiritual tools, pain from the past can help you get through anything today.
Two of the most valuable tools in the Yoga Mind program are the ones we happen to be at now: Titiksha, the capacity to endure, and Tapas, viewing painful experiences as events that helped us grow and become stronger. We’re looking at both of them this week for a few reasons. One, they work beautifully together. Two, I need them both right now, because three, I shared recently that my family has some life events going on, and I’m deep in the lotus mud of using both of these tools right now.
Let’s start with Titiksha, which was Day 21 of the 30-day Yoga Mind program. Titiksha is the capacity to endure challenges, and also the very important knowledge that you can endure challenges. But before we can wrap our minds around the fact that we can endure whatever comes up in our lives, there’s one vital step.
